Fire & Theft is only available for Unregistered Dirt Bikes.
We can only provide you with a quick quote, (indicative premium) if you and / or any riders who are likely to ride your bike agree with the following;
I / we are licensed to ride this bike (not applicable for unregistered bikes which can only have Fire & Theft cover. Registered bikes can not have Fire & Theft cover).
I / we use this bike for private use only
I / we confirm the bike doesn't have any unrepaired damage and is in road worthy condition.
In the past 3 years;
In the past 5 years,
The Agreed Value cannot exceed the purchase price and cost of non-standard accessories and modifications.
The value of non-standard accessories and modifications cannot exceed 50% of the purchase price.
Your Duty of Disclosure
Before you enter into an insurance contract, you have a duty of disclosure under the Insurance Contracts Act 1984.
If we ask you questions that are relevant to our decision to insure you and on what terms, you must tell us anything that you know and that a reasonable person in the circumstances would include in answering the questions.
You have this duty until we agree to insure you.
If you do not tell us something
If you do not tell us anything you are required to tell us, we may cancel your contract or reduce the amount we will pay you if you make a claim, or both.
If your failure to tell us is fraudulent, we may refuse to pay a claim and treat the contract as if it never existed.
QBE may share personal information with other QBE Group companies, our authorised representatives and service providers, each of which may be based outside of Australia.
If you don't provide all of the personal information that has been requested QBE may be unable to issue, administer or manage products or provide services.
